2014 ends with Santa Claus and 2015 begins with the Tooth Fairy

Christmas was absolutely wonderful this year. Mom came to town, and despite the cold weather (hey - I consider the 30s cold now), we took advantage of every opportunity we had to be active and outdoors. We hiked nearly every day, among doing other fun things like taking her to her first rodeo and hitting some golf balls at Top Golf. For those who have yet to experience it, let me just say that Top Golf is hands down one of the best places I have ever been to. It puts the A in AWESOME.

Anyway, not only did I enjoy mom's visit, but the little peanut did, too. Between the two of us, Alfredo was showered with plenty of toys this year. Here's the aftermath:
This took about ten minutes. He was pooped.
Interestingly enough, he usually finds a favorite gift from the bunch. This year happened to be a reindeer antler. I hope Santa isn't too upset...

We've made it through another holiday season, which was smooth sailing. Well, everything but the pine cone project I had anticipated but have yet finished (refer to my last post). Quite honestly, the pine cone project deserves its own post, so like my project, that'll just go on the back burner for now.

Fast-forward to a week after New Year's, and my sweet little pedigree did the unthinkable. He lost one of his cute little needle teeth. NOOOOO!!!!!!!
Words can actually not express how upset his missing tooth makes me, reason being that for a Boston Terrier, his teeth were essentially perfect. White and straight is difficult to find in this particular breed. My initial reaction was to call the vet, or even worse, the dentist (yes, dog dentists exist). Although my anxiety hasn't calmed much, I've chosen not to. I'm not sure anything can be done. Although it bothers me terribly, it doesn't seem to be bothering him any. He's eating, playing, and acting like his little rambunctious self. I guess if he's happy, I should be, too.

I can tell you what has cheered me up since then....
...this cute gift I saw when I walked into my office this morning
And there you have it. Alfie broke his tooth playing wild man with Wrangler, this cute little boy.
He's often mischievous, but he is also very sweet. I forgive you, Wrangler.

A big shout out to Cynthia and Lauren for stepping up as the tooth fairies! He loves his new duck and doesn't stop staring at it!
