Hi Bob!
Speaking of seats, we also had great seats at Uptown Art in Chandler, where we attended the Paint Your Pet session. It was so much fun! As if you needed to guess, I painted my beloved fur kid. Here is my painting along with the picture I chose, which of course is one of my favorites. This exact picture was actually featured on 12 News for their furry Friday competition. I wrote about it in this blog, at some point long ago.
I took some additional pictures along the way. I'm so happy how it turned out. I just love it!

Alfredo's painting received over 120 likes on Facebook! One of my dear friends even sent me a text saying, "You are the greatest painter ever." I'm not sure I agree, but it was incredibly sincere. Maybe I should quit my day job. Eh, probably not.
And when we weren't sitting at concerts or painting sessions, we were outside enjoying the nice weather. I'm now in training for my 5th half marathon, so I'm running 5 miles comfortably right now. Mom jogged a couple of times this weekend. So proud of her!
Speaking of running, it's about that time. And since Vincent Van Gogh was born in the Netherlands, I'll end this by saying goodbye in Dutch: vaarwel! (I swear the painting did not get to my head).
